Warranty periods for switching modules have been updated

We inform you that the ETEK-1020 enterprise, based on a written notification from the Tavrida Electric Ukraine enterprise, has established new warranty periods for the operation of switching modules based on vacuum switches, which are manufactured in accordance with TU U 31.2-31576194-006:2009 (as amended) from July 1, 2026.

Switching modules are certified im accordance with the requirements of VIT SEPRO.

Warranty periods

Standard storage period (from the moment of unloading by the manufacturer) - 1 year.

Warranty period (including the standard storage period) - 5 years.

Scheduled maintenance

The products do not contain components that require scheduled preliminary repairs (SPR) or replacement of consumables.

At the same time, taking into account more than 25 years of successful experience in using switching modules, it is recommended to perform the following scheduled maintenance measures:

Current repairs or maintenance (if necessary)

Period — once every 6 years from the date of shipment by the manufacturer.

The scope of work is based on the results of product diagnostics in accordance with the requirements of the “Operation Manual”.

The criterion for the suitability of the product for further operation is positive test results in the scope of paragraphs 1.8.119–1.8.124 of the PUE after performing current repairs or maintenance.

Overhaul (if necessary)

The recommended period for carrying out the work is after 24 years of operation.

The scope of work is based on the results of product diagnostics in accordance with the requirements of the “Operation Manual”.

The criterion for the suitability of the product for further operation is positive test results in the scope of paragraphs 1.8.119–1.8.124 of the PUE after performing major repairs.

The specified changes come into force on 07/01/2026 and apply unless otherwise provided by the executive documentation for a specific product.
