It is recommended to diagnose switching equipment at least once every 8 years.

Taking into account the current operational situation and the peculiarities of the operation of substation equipment of the voltage class 6–35 kV in recent years, at the initiative of the technical departments of distribution system operators, the company ETEK-1020 LLC together with the manufacturer of vacuum circuit breakers of types VV/TEL, VV/MVT and ISM15, based on the results of the analysis of the failure intensity and operating time to failure indicators, the value of the interdiagnostic interval has been changed.

Starting from 2026, in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents GKD 34.2020.661-2003 (ed. 2019) and SOU 40.1-00130044-834:2012, it is recommended to carry out diagnostics of switching equipment of the specified types in operation (within the scope of the requirements of paragraphs 1.8.119–1.8.124 of the PUE) at least once every 8 years.
